Company history

The central field geological and geophysical expedition was created in 1999. by combining the Central Search Party and the Geophysical Parties of the three geological exploration expeditions of the Samarkandgeology State Geological Survey: the Kyzyl Kum State Geological Survey, Zarafshan State Geological Survey and Kashkadarya State Geological Survey.

The State Enterprise “Central Geological and Geophysical Expedition” was created by order of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Geology and Mineral Resources dated January 25, 2007 No. 13 in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 17, 2007 No. 568 “On measures to radically improve the organization of geological work and the activities of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Geology and Mineral Resources “through the reorganization of the Samarkandgeology State Public Enterprise and the allocation of its structures th division – Central Field geological and geophysical expedition as an independent state enterprise.

The subject of the expedition is a comprehensive geological study of the subsoil, including regional geological survey, geochemical, geophysical work, prospecting, evaluation and exploration of mineral deposits, contributing to the expansion of the mineral resource base of the republic.

The permanent location of the Central HGE is the city of Samarkand (control apparatus, laboratory of special research methods, geophysical batch, batch of borehole geophysics, motor transport section), the city of Tashkent (batch of processing geophysical information, mineralogical and petrographic laboratory), the village of Ingichke of the Samarkand region (autoclave laboratory thermochemical analysis, drilling section). The basing of the Field units is determined by the areas of work and the location of the units of borehole geophysics in Western, Southern and Eastern Uzbekistan.
